The design of this lovely slip dress is a celebration of the Arts & Crafts movement, and a nod to the beauty of “non-finito” (art that is a work-in-progress). The printed Bird of Peace comes from an original hand stitched work by fibre artist Kim Donohoe, who used single-ply thread to capture every detail of plumage. The background panels come from unfinished works created in 1885 by British artist William Morris, whose original pencil sketch lines can be seen where the designs remain incomplete. These were included intentionally, to celebrate the profound beauty of the artistic process. This dress is reversible! Wear it with the bird on the front of the back, depending on your mood. Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend wearing a full or half-slip with this style.

100% bamboo viscose.
Measurements: 136cm long, 52cm wide underarm to underarm.
