Swept Away

This beautiful piece of Manzanita floated down Deer Creek, which starts in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It found its way to Scotts Flat Lake near the town of Nevada City, CA.

It was “liberated” by Sandy Croft and brought home to his workshop. He added light sanding and clear Varathane to enhance its natural beauty. The base is Macassar Ebony. 

The powers of nature are responsible for this beautiful design and creation. Swept away is one of a kind piece that should be cherished and loved in any home.
